LIGHT BEAM
SCULPTURE LAMP, SELENITE CRYSTAL
Be a light in dark places. This lamp is the first in a series of sculpture lamps that I am working on. The concept is based on the coexistence of technology and nature. In this series, I am combining organic forms, traditional woodworking techniques and integrating state of the art lighting components. These sculpture lamps feature LED lamps, rotary and touch dimmer controls, natural stone crystals, and hand blown art glass globes.
This lamp features a 12″ Selenite crystal that is illuminated from the bottom chamber with a single LED lamp. It emits 200 lumens and is dimmable by a classic rotary dimmer switch. This is a warm color, low light accent lamp that will make a nice room night light. The lamp measures 5″ wide and 16″ tall. The sculpture is made of walnut hardwood with a gloss varnish finish.
